Summer festival of the IMEL brings employees together in the best summer weather
In bright sunshine and a pleasant 20 degrees, this year's summer festival of the Institute of Management, Economics and Law (IMEL) took place.
For the first time, the festival was celebrated together with the colleagues of the former Institute for German and International Mountain and Energy Law (IBER) and the employees of the sports institute.
The event was opened by the head of the institute, Prof. Dr. Thomas Nobody. In his welcome speech, he highlighted the excellent cooperation within the new large institute and thanked all employees for their great commitment, successful research work and their daily commitment. He particularly emphasized the successful merger of the two institutes and also welcomed the colleagues of the sports institute, who took part in the summer festival for the first time this year. Afterwards, Managing Director Svenja Schachten opened the barbecue buffet.
The summer festival offered numerous opportunities for personal exchange beyond the boundaries of the individual work areas and showed once again how important a good cooperation is for the success of the IMEL. Especially after the merger of the institutes, the evening provided a nice setting to make new contacts and further deepen existing ones.
The IMEL would like to thank all those involved for an all-round successful evening and is already looking forward to the next summer festival.
